Professional competence

The Czech Insurance Association is authorized (Notification of the Ministry of Finance No. 32/101583/2004-325; September 29, 2004) to provide professional learning and educational programs aimed to obtain professional competence in accordance with Act No. 38/2004 Sb. to regulate insurance intermediaries and independent loss adjusters and to alter the Trade Act.

Insurance essentials

One-semester program introduces to participants the basic principles and processes used in the insurance sphere (including legislation). By successfully completing the educational program the candidates acquire comprehensive knowledge necessary for their further development in insurance.

Foreign language dictionaries

Encyclopedic dictionary

The dictionary contains nearly 1,000 terms from different areas of insurance. It explains the most frequent phrases related to particular products, the organization and management of the insurance market and to the actual activities of insurance companies and their economies. It includes terms from insurance law, actuarial mathematics, risk management and distribution.

Brochures

Specialized brochures supply a summary of information about individual insurance products. They also provide specific advice on situations closely connected with insurance. The brochures serve as a step-by-step insurance guide from the initial negotiation to claim settlement.
